Show me the Money!

We worked with coins this week - describing them, sorting them, organizing them into piles, and counting them!

If your child cannot identify the name and value of coins, could you help them practice at home? Do you have a coin jar (or could you make one) so that your child could use it to sort coins, tell you the coin name & value, and practice counting dimes & nickels?

We will be doing word problems involving money(and time) this year.
